Other issues in Media and Society

Hey everyone, I hope everyone is going well ! This post is a bit different no new topic to talk about but, I want to share with you some blogs of my classmates which I found very interesting.

she talks about the impact of social media on the youth. Some effects about the portrayal of body image, effect on behavior, mental health issues but also some positives like maintaining friendships and talking to people.

The second one is about the Animal rights in the media from

Yelyzaveta Tuka https://lizatuka2500.wixsite.com/website/blog in her blog she talks about animal rights are the belief that animals have a right to be free of human use and exploitation, but there is a great deal of confusion about what that means. Animal rights are not about putting animals above humans or giving animals the same rights as humans. Also, animal rights are very different from animal welfare.

The third one is about the negative impact of media on children and adolescents, from Popov Nikolay https://kolya2019191.wixsite.com/website-3 in his blog he talks about young people in the social media how they get influenced by it. He also describes the nature of media influence on young people, and that we can distinguish two types of influence (Positive & Negative)

The fourth one is about media and success in sports from Benjamin Bergel https://sportachievements.blogspot.com/ in his blog he talks about sports and I actually found it interesting. The author explained everything in details and in a friendly way i really like that. If you are a sport person this blog is just for you.

The last one that I recommend you my friends, is Media and corporate technology, from Yulia Tamarashvili https://mediaandcorptech.blogspot.com/

in her blog she explained how far the technological progress has come nowadays and also how the new technological advancements that have impacted media in manner never before experienced.
